To have your computer and phone connected at the same time, you will need to have the PAP2 plugged into a Router.

  1. Plug the cable (provided) into the Ethernet port on the PAP2 (labelled A in Fig.1 above) and the Ethernet/ LAN port of your router.
  2. Plug your phone into 'Line 1' on the PAP2 (labelled B in Fig.1 above).
  3. Plug the PAP2 into a power socket, using the plug provided.
  4. Make sure your router is connected to your broadband.
  5. When everything is connected (Fig. 2) switch off the PAP2, router and broadband modem (unplug power). Leave them for 30 seconds, switch back on and leave them for 5 minutes to 7 minutes.
  6. The lights (LEDs) on the PAP2 should glow green. To test your new phone system dial 303# (free talking clock) to check if you can hear the time.
  7. Do not reset the router. This will delete the settings required for the service to work.
